1923 Bacon and Day Silver Bell No.1.

1923 Bacon and Day Silver Bell No.1, 1923 Groton-era Bacon & Day Silver Bell No. 1 tenor 4-string banjo.  11″  natural calfskin head, 24 lugs, approximately 22″ scale with 17 frets and fancy pearl inlays.  Maple pot with single wood coordinator rod, solid maple resonator, flame maple neck, ebony fretboard. Serial # 10905.  Banjo has been played; shows some minor playwear on back of resonator and fretboard but is in overall very good original condition. Missing one very small piece of inlay at the headstock. Includes original hardshell case in rough condition (missing handle).
